argent code’s final chapter underway - october newsletter
October Greetings!
While everyone else was settling back into their normal routines, hubby and I decided to sneak away for a quick three-day trip to southeastern Oklahoma, near a little town called Broken Bow. Picture a beautiful, peaceful lake surrounded by thick forests of deep green trees and abundant wildlife. Wow, the scenery didn’t disappoint!
Unfortunately, the weather did.
The original plan was to take our kayaks and paddle around the lake, but the rain took only a few hours off during our entire stay. That left us cabin-bound for most of the trip. Thankfully, our beautiful cabin came with a great view and a large covered deck, complete with a hot tub and fireplace. Not too torturous!
With our busy lives, quiet time together can be scarce. So the rain brought a blessing in disguise: sweet moments with the man I love, sitting together and enjoying the quiet beauty of God’s creation. Not bad at all!
Book News
Code Corrupted released on September 10 and has been enjoying steady reads. I hope you’ve had a chance to pick up this exciting sequel to Code Compromised! If you’ve read it, please consider leaving a review. Your words can encourage future readers to give the series a try.
Since my last newsletter, I’ve been writing Code Collapsed, the third and final book in the Argent Code series, at nosebleed speeds. For some reason, this one is coming very quickly and easily, and boy, is it tugging on my heartstrings!
If you’ve been following the story, you know these characters’ struggles, fears, and pain. There’s something beautiful about reaching the point where healing begins to take hold as they find love, family, and purpose. Getting to write those moments is quite a gift.
I anticipate finishing Code Collapsed by November, with release planned for early January. I’ll let you know as soon as it’s available for preorder!
